How to Facilitate a Grooming Awareness Activity

The final of three safeguarding webinars will be held 28 May 2020. The NCCA and Catholic Professional Standards (CPSL) have worked collaboratively to design resources to help faith communities across Australia keep children safe and protected in faith organisations.

This How to facilitate a Grooming Awareness Activity webinar is for leaders and personnel who have safeguarding responsibilities in faith and church communities. A focus of this session is an explainer of Sue Crittall’s Grooming Awareness Activity, including the contents of the activity – facilitator guide, participant notes, power point, and sets of cards.

Date: 28 May 2020 

Time: 9.30am - 11.00am AEST

Cost: $50 + GST for members* / $55 + GST for non-members**

The presentation will be delivered with the participation of Sue Crittall, a social worker and professional supervisor. The presentation will include a Q&A panel with facilitators Sue Crittall, Daniele Donnini, Laura Lindsay-Cregan and Kylie Kendall (Safe Places Coordinator Churches of Christ Vic/Tas).
