UN agencies, NGOs, and WCC join at UN to end violence against children

Panel discussion on child rights, UN Human Rights Council, March 8 2018. 

Representatives of UN agencies such as the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have spoken of how religious communities and churches can play a key part in ending violence in early childhood.

International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam, July 2018

Applicaitons are invited 

The World Council of Churches - Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance (WCC-EAA) is inviting applications from interfaith chaplains and young counsellors to participate at the 22nd International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam, July 2018.

An Interfaith Pre-Conference is planned for 21-22 July.

Since the 15th International AIDS Conference in Bangkok, Thailand (AIDS 2004), the WCC-EAA has led the facilitation of an Interfaith Chaplains Programme.

WCC EAAApplications are now being accepted up to 22 March 2018.
