Safe Church Training Agreement 

WA training and ecumenical gathering 

Royal Commission recommendations and the 10 Child Safe standards.

Date: Saturday 25 August 2018 - 9am to 4pm

Venue: Uniting Church Noranda – 79 Camboon Road, Noranda WA

The Council of Churches of Western Australia(CCWA) and The National Council of Churches in Australia, Safe Church Program invite Heads of Churches' delegates along with appropriate Safe Church practitioners for a day of information sharing and discussion on the royal Commission recommendations.

Many churches are responding to suit the needs of their own context and others are trying to establish how to start this work with limited resources. This day is an opportunity to come together in partnership with all churches in WA to share how your church is going and to share positive outcomes, challenges, issues and concerns.

The day will be hosted by CCWA Executive officer, Simone Micke and NCCA Safe Church co-ordinator, Laura Cregan with special Guest speaker Ms Andrea Muslin, Director of Safeguarding for Perth Catholic Archdiocese who will address the group on protective behaviours and how they intersect with the 10 child safe standards.
