Attention all stargazers
Look up in the morning sky this February.
On 2 February, 2023, look out for a 'bright green' comet with 'two brilliant tails'. It should appear above Australia on its closest approach to Earth, 42 million kms away. Astronomers advise that we'll be able to get a good look at the passing comet through binoculars.
The ancient comet was last seen passing Earth on its journey through space, during the Stone Age.
