End Homelessness 2023

Join Everybody's Home campaign to end homelessness

Over 80 agencies have combined for the Everybody’s Home campaign to solve homelessness in Australia.

We need to fix the system.

No matter who you are or where you come from, everyone needs a safe, decent and affordable home. But in Australia right now, more than 122,000 people have no home on any given night.

The best way to help end homelessness is to provide more social housing for people who need a home. But Australia has a shortfall of 640,000 social housing properties.

Homelessness is both preventable and solvable

We know homelessness can be solved. If people have access to safe and affordable housing, adequate incomes and the support they need to escape violence or abuse and to find and sustain a home, homelessness will be rare, and where it does occur, brief and quickly resolved.

We have the power and resources to end homelessness in Australia for good

This year, the Federal Government is developing a 10-year National Housing and Homelessness Plan. For that plan to make a real difference, we need it to be ambitious and to deliver on the resources and reforms needed to end homelessness for good.

Can you sign the petition calling on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to ensure this plan is ambitious, and is backed by the commitment and resources needed to end homelessness?
