How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Reportable Conduct Scheme VIC

An update from the Commission for Children and Young People, Victoria (CCYP)

There are two new information sheets to help parents and carers navigate the Reportable Conduct Scheme.

The information sheets explain the Reportable Conduct Scheme and what happens when a child is involved in an investigation as an alleged victim or witness.

Griffith University grooming survey

Griffith University is calling for people who work or volunteer in organisations covered by the Reportable Conduct Scheme and/or the Child Safe Standards to take part in a short survey on grooming behaviours.

The survey is part of a research project run by Griffith University. The results will help them better understand what behaviours are recognised as grooming, so they can support organisations to keep children and young people safe from abuse.

To improve the gender balance of the survey, they need more participants who identify as male to fill out the survey – please send the link below to anyone you think may be interested in participating.

The survey is anonymous and should only take 20 minutes to complete.

Griffith University is also conducting in-depth discussions about survey responses. Details on how you can volunteer to participate in these discussions are included at the end of the survey.
