How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The 2nd Pasifika Philosophies Conference, under the theme: “Pasifika Philosophies, Weaving Futures”. The conference will be held in Suva, Fiji, 13-15 August 2026, hosted by Pasifika Communities University (PCU). The conference gathers 500 participants (including organisers) from the region and all over the world.

Theme and Focus
“‘Pasifika Philosophies, Weaving Futures’” explores relational “whole of life” philosophies rooted in Pasifika cultural arts like tattooing, carving, weaving, and dances. These living traditions address modern challenges including AI, technological evolution, militarism, climate change, violence, poverty, health, and ecological destruction.
