How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Liturgical resources are now available to celebrate the Pacific Day of Prayer on May 1st, 2026. They were prepared by the PNG Council of Churches.

Last year (2025), PNG celebrated its 50th Golden Jubilee Independence celebration amid all trials, tribulations and challenges PNG had been and is going through as a developing nation.   In the Jubilee season for PNG, we invite our Pacific sisters and brothers to take a humble forward-looking step with us towards unity, healing and restoration for our nation and its people under the theme: “Mystery of Communion for National Peace, Healing and Restoration”.
