The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

As plans advance for Australia to host US nuclear-capable B-52 bombers and potentially nuclear-armed submarines, there are increasing concerns about Australia unknowingly hosting American nuclear weapons in future.

On Tuesday, 19 May, ICAN is bringing together leading experts on nuclear policy, disarmament, advocacy and international humanitarian law for a No Nuclear Weapons in Australia Webinar to discuss Australia’s role in the global nuclear landscape.

The webinar will explore issues including future hosting of US nuclear-capable military assets, humanitarian concerns and how civil society across Australia and the Pacific is coming together with one voice to call for no nuclear weapons in Australia.
