How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Bishop Vardan and Bishop Daniel

On 2 November 2026, His Grace Bishop Daniel, Head of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Australia (on right), visited the Diocesan Headquarters of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Australia and New Zealand, where he had a warm and cordial meeting with His Grace Bishop Vardan Navasardyan, Primate of the Diocese (on left).

During the meeting, the leaders of the two Sister Churches discussed opportunities for cooperation within ecumenical organisations and explored ways to further strengthen their collaboration through practical initiatives.

In the course of this warm and fraternal meeting, the two Bishops also prayed together for the steadfastness of their Churches, the witness of faith, and the success of their spiritual mission.
