How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

In preparation for the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (25 November – 10 December), Queensland Churches Together’s Joint Churches Domestic Violence Prevention Project is pleased to share a new suite of videos, designed to raise awareness of domestic and family violence (DFV) within the church – and to help Christians and church leaders respond appropriately.

At just 2-minutes each, these videos can be played during church services, Bible studies, men’s breakfasts, women’s groups, and senior youth/young adult meetings, or shared in church newsletters and other communications:

All three videos are available with AUSLAN interpretation and multilingual subtitles in Arabic, Bislama, Dinka, Fijian, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Korean, Samoan, Simple Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, Tongan, Traditional Chinese and Vietnamese.
