How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The NCCA extends warm greetings and good wishes to the Jewish community in Australia as they celebrate Rosh Hashanah, welcome the year 5787, and prepare to observe Yom Kippur.

May these holy days invite reflection and reconciliation, and may they bring renewed hope, inner strength, and peace to families and  communities.

We pray for an awakening of a deeper commitment to justice, human dignity, and healing in our society at a time when the Jewish community has suffered greatly.

The NCCA reaffirms our commitment to mutual respect and understanding, to opposing antisemitism and all forms of hatred, and to advancing conditions in which all Australian may live in peace, safety and dignity.
