How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The network was formed in 2017 following a recommendation of the National Heads of Churches and is warmly supported by the National Council of Churches in Australia. The conference is held biennially and provides a forum for collaboration, the sharing of best practice, and a coordinated voice on matters of regulatory and operational significance to the sector. The FRANC Conference is back on Friday 16 October 2026 (with an optional dinner the evening prior) in the Ministry & Learning Centre, Level 1 Auditorium, 5 Saunders Close, Macquarie Park NSW.
