How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The NCCA has scheduled four online lunchtime prayers for this year.

More details will be forthcoming as each of these prayer events are finalised.  Each prayer service will begin at 1:00pm (AEDT/AEST) and last approximately 45 minutes, during the lunchtime period.

In the meantime, we ask that you add the following to your diary:

  1. Wednesday 11 March 2026 – Mid-Lent Prayers for Peace in the World. From 1:00pm (AEDT)
  2. Wednesday 20 May 2026 – Prayers during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. From 1:00pm (AEST)
  3. Wednesday 9 September 2026 – Prayers during the Season of Creation. From 1:00pm (AEST)
  4. Wednesday 23 September 2026 – Prayers for Peace in the World during the WCC Week of Prayer for Peace in Palestine and Israel. From 1:00pm (AEST)
