How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Women connected to the Catholic Church — both lay and religious — are being invited to take part in the WISE Project (Women’s Insights into Safeguarding Efforts in the Catholic Church).

This international research study, led by researchers from Australian Catholic University, Tangaza University and the Global Safeguarding Alliance examines how women experience and view current safeguarding practices for children and vulnerable adults within the Church, and how these practices can be strengthened.

You can take part if:

  • You are a woman aged 18 or older
  • You are part of the Catholic Church (as a layperson, someone who works or volunteers in the Church, or religious sister)
