How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Christian Conference of Asia is hosting the Asian Ecumenical Youth Assembly, from 17 to 21 April 2026 in Chiang Mai, Thailand under the theme “Break Every Yoke” (Isaiah 58:6). The NCCA is seeking a young person to attend as a representative from the Australian Church.

This landmark youth gathering will be the fifth ecumenical youth assembly organised by the CCA in its ecumenical journey.  It will provide opportunities for Asian youth to reflect on global and regional issues from biblical and theological perspectives, and to analyse the complex web of social, economic, cultural, political, and ecological challenges that affect the lives of young people in Asia.

CCA will cover the expenses for accommodation, meals, and local transportation for all selected participants. Participants from Australia are encouraged to bear their own travel expenses by seeking sponsorship from their respective churches or organisations.

Young people between the ages of 20 and 35 years are eligible to apply. The deadline for submitting completed applications has been extended to XX. Please bring this opportunity to the attention of young people in your Church and interested candidates may contact info@ncca.org.au
