How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

George Majaj, the ACT Alliance regional representative in the Middle East and North Africa, recently spoke with the World Council of Churches (WCC), outlining the desperate situation in Gaza.

Mr Majaj has assured us that the ACT Alliance partners continue to deliver humanitarian support in Gaza. Despite the seemingly desperate situation currently being experienced by Palestinians and aid workers in Gaza.  Through the assistance of the DSPR-MECC, (Department of Service to Palestinian Refugees of the Middle East Council of Churches), members are able to provide emergency humanitarian support to those most affected by the catastrophic consequences of the prolonged war.

In his interview with the WCC, Mr Majaj answers these three pointed questions:

  • What are the most urgent needs your partners are seeing on the ground right now?
  • How is ACT responding?
  • What can your ecumenical family pray for you as you continue to help so many people in need?

we humbly ask the World Council of Churches and our wider ecumenical family to keep us in prayer as we continue to raise our voices for justice, peace, and human dignity. George Majaj
