How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Laudato Si’ Week 2025

24 – 31 May 2025

“Let us sing as we go. May our struggles and our concern for this planet never take away the joy of our hope.” Laudato Si’ 244

You’re invited to organize an event for Laudato Si’ Week, to bring Pope Francis’ message to the world.

This year, the Laudato Si’ Movement celebrates a milestone: it’s been 10 years since Pope Francis published Laudato Si’. During Laudato Si’ Week, honour his legacy by reflecting, rejoicing, and reaching your neighbours.

Get Laudato Si’ Week resources to help organise an event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the encyclical. Aim to invite 10 people who haven’t heard the Laudato Si’ message. There are five practical suggestions for the type of event you could hold, along with excellent resources.

CRA 10,000 for 10 Initiative Launch Webinar

Catholic Religious Australia(CRA) invite you to join them online for the Launch Webinar of their 10,000 for 10 Initiative. A CRA project developed to encourage their members to plant and/or protect 10,000 trees to mark the 10th anniversary of Laudato Si’.

Pope Francis’ call to all people of the world to take “swift and unified global action” to protect God’s creation is as relevant and important as ever.

This webinar commemorates Pope Francis’ extraordinary contribution to environmental and climate justice, and calling for us all to take action towards healing the ‘Cry of the Earth’.
