How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Churches and prayer groups are invited to register for the National Day of Prayer (NDOP2025)

2025 Theme: The Preeminence of Christ is based on Colossian 1:15-20.

When: Saturday 7 June 2025

Where: to be held all across Australia

There are several ways to participate in the NDOP:

  1. Register to attend a local event and view the list of venues on the website.
  2. Register your church to host the National Day of Prayer at your local church/venue. On registering you will receive support from the Regional Coordinator who will guide you through the whole process.
  3. Register to host a combined church Gathering – this is POWERFUL, ask other churches in your region to join together in UNITY for the NDOP. On registering, a Regional Coordinator will contact you to help support you through this process.
  4. Register your prayer group and receive our resources to help you know how to pray on the day.

A Prayer Guide with more details is available to help hosting churches to plan their own program for the Day.
