How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

In February 2026, the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT will host Vaka 2026, a national foundations training in community organising. Developed with the NSW Community Alliance, the National Assembly, the Uniting Climate Action Network, and the IAF Pacific.

Held from 25–27 February at the Centre for Ministry in Parramatta, Vaka 2026 is not just a training program—it’s a chance to strengthen relationships across the Uniting Church, reconnect with our shared purpose, and chart the work ahead
