National Office for Child Safety Update – launch of new resources
The National Office for Child Safety (the National Office) is pleased to have published 3 animated videos to support organisations who engage with children and young people with disability implement the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (the National Principles).
The National Office partnered with Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) to create the educational videos which aim to support organisations, staff and volunteers understand how to create safe organisations for children and young people with disability. A video has also been created for children and young people with disability and their caregivers to explain their rights and what to expect in a child safe organisation.
All 3 videos were co-designed with children and young people with disability and are available in a range of accessible formats.

The National Office is working on developing additional resources to continue to support organisations engaging with children and young people with disability to implement the National Principles.
