How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The light of peace from Australia

God, Creator of unity,
help us to make peace with creation,
so that rather than destroying the earth,
we learn to live in harmony with creation,
that all who live on this beautiful blue planet
might have abundant life.

Christ, body of Peace,
help us make peace with each other,
so that where there is warfare fighting might cease,
those broken in body and spirit might be healed,
and all can enjoy the opportunity to live, work, learn, and play in peace.

God, Spirit of community
help us to build communities of hospitality
so that those damaged by war and trauma
might know welcome and healing,
justice might reign and
all might live in harmony.

We pray in the name of Christ, Amen.
