How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

80 Years 1945-2025

80th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima (6th August) and Nagasaki (9th August), the end of WW2, the establishment of the UN and a rules-based multilateral order.

The event will be held via Zoom for two sessions with different themes.

Each meeting will remember and acknowledge the past and its continuing legacies, to raise awareness of the escalating dangers of future nuclear threats, and to initiate and promote religious, spiritual, and moral responses. There is an impressive range of multi-faith and First Nations speakers from the Asia-Pacific region.
