How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Lotu refers to communal gatherings where songs and stories are shared, strategies are shaped, lament and celebration are held together, and dreaming and guardianship are nurtured.

In solidarity with Indigenous Australian communities, and mindful of the ongoing impacts of invasion, Lotu Festival 2026 calls for climate justice while celebrating minoritised cultures.

Climate justice is about working together for equity, respect, and care for Earth, our shared and distressed home. It resists systems that profit at the expense of people, cultures, and the living world. All are welcome.
