How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Venerable Geshe Lhakdor, Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Artifacts at Dharamsala, India, will present a lecture on “Turning inward: The first step to universal compassion.” Afterward, he will join Rev Dr Rod Benson, General Secretary of the NSW Ecumenical Council, and Nadya Hutagalung, the founder of Svara Mandala, for environmental advocacy; for a moderated dialogue on Buddhist and Christian approaches to spirituality and ethics.
