How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The World Council of Churches invites applications for the Eco-Diakonia Youth Hub 2026, a 3-month global training programme equipping 20-25 young leaders (ages 20-30) to advance climate justice and diaconal service.

Programme Highlights:
→ Training: May–July 2026 (online, Fridays at 15:00 CET)
→ Focus: Theological reflection, advocacy skills, community action planning
→ Part of a 3-year formation process: training (2026), local application (2027), mentorship (2028)

“When young leaders develop concrete diaconal practices rooted in faith, solidarity, and community engagement, they become catalysts for real and lasting change,” says Gloria Pua Ulloa, WCC Programme Executive for Ecumenical Diakonia.

Applications close 1 March 2026.
