How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Communities coming together for peace with justice.

Sunday 21 September, during the World Week for Peace in Palestine and Israel (20-26 September), Palestine Israel Ecumenical Network (PIEN) are calling on clergy and churches to participate in a simple action of solidarity.

The action will be two-fold:

  1. print out these signs (download below) or make similar ones; take a photo of church folk holding them; email them to Nell – contact@pien.org.au by Monday 29 September 2025. 
  2. once the video is produced, everyone who participated in holding signs will be asked to share the video with their Federal Member of Parliament, the Foreign Minister and the Prime Minister.

“For the past two years the Palestine Israel Ecumenical Network (PIEN) have produced a video showing Christians holding signs calling for an end to the injustice in the Holy Land. This year on Sunday 21 September, they are once again calling all clergy and churches to do this simple action.”

PIEN’s aim is to double the number of participating churches.
