How We Work

The NCCA gathers together Churches and Christian communities which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures. We commit to deepen our relationship with each other and to work together towards the fulfilment of common witness, proclamation and service, to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Stop Annexation: End the Occupation

The World Council of Churches (WCC) has launched an advocacy campaign through its Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) to amplify local voices and raise awareness about the daily realities of life under occupation and the impact of international law violations on individuals and communities.

The multi-faceted campaign will run from 21 May to 11 June 2025,  and aims to pave a path for just peace in Palestine and Israel.

The campaign is addressing the forced displacement, de-facto annexation, and discrimination—and will advocate collectively for policy change, including more active engagement in restarting a process for a just and sustainable resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The campaign will also urge implementation of the International Court of Justice advisory opinion about third-state responsibilities, and highlight local civil society initiatives for an end of the occupation and a just peace.

A range of materials are available on WCC website including:
