Pacific leaders call for urgent action

Samoa's new Prime Minister, Fiame Naomi Mata'afa, along with other leaders of Pacific nations, want immediate action from Australia to help them cope with climate change.

Pacific leaders warn that time is running out to address climate change and urge all nations, including Australia, to halve their emissions in the next decade. 

And meanwhile, Australia is one of the few developed countries yet to sign up to the Paris Agreement, committing to net zero emissions by 2050.
