PIEN page1 The Palestine Israel Ecumenical Network (PIEN) has released a series of Advent reflections based on the lectionary readings from Luke’s Gospel (Year C). It contains stories and photos from the Ecumenical Accompaniment Program in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI), a program of the World Council of Churches (WCC).

The Advent resource is a joint project of members from the EAPPI Australian Committee and the Palestine Israel Ecumenical Network (PIEN) www.pien.org.au. PIEN is a network of Australian Christians seeking a lasting peace in Palestine and Israel. They work closely with the National Council of Churches and the EAPPI program as well as with the heads of churches in Jerusalem.
