Multicultural community funding

COVID-19 Small Grants

Funding is now available to help multicultural community groups to ensure that all Australians, including those from CALD backgrounds, have access to information on the COVID-19 vaccination.

Grants are now open - close 22 January 2022

Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia (FECCA) is working with the Federal Government in collaboration with The Settlement Council of Australia (SCoA), Migration Council Australia (MCA), and The Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network (MYAN).

This is funded by the Federal Department of Health and will help multicultural community groups to lead grassroots communication activities around COVID-19 and the vaccination rollout, targeting CALD communities.

FECCA, SCoA, MCA and MYAN invite applications from eligible community groups to undertake this information activity.

The Small Grants program aims to achieve the following:

  • Foster community involvement and participation
  • Overcome language and cultural barriers to accessing information on COVID 19 and the vaccination program
  • Provide opportunities for the community to identify local issues and respond to them and
  • Encourage partnerships among community organisations.

The program is now open.

Please visit www.fecca.org.au/grants for further information.
