FECCA Advisory Committee Recruitment Closes 28 June 2020
Positions are now available on the disability, healthy ageing, new and emerging communities, rural and regional, women's and youth advisory committees. Each committee is representative of the diverse communities within Australia and will include individuals with lived experience and service providers.
As the national peak body representing those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA) needs robust, knowledgeable and dedicated committees to inform submissions, projects and policy.
This is a volunteer position where you have the opportunity to influence and shape FECCA’s policy and advocacy for the next 2 years. As a committee member you will meet other likeminded people from across Australia, advise policy in a meaningful way, support the development of informed policy positions, advocate on behalf of people from CALD backgrounds and receive support and expertise from the committee chair.
