Facilitator:  Dr. Julian Droogan, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Security Studies and Criminology, Macquarie University.

IEP recently released the Global Peace Index 2020 report, which measures peace and its economic impact. The report presents one of the most comprehensive, data-driven analysis on trends in peace, and how to develop peaceful societies. The report also analyses the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on peace, specifically how its economic consequences will increase the risk of severe deteriorations in positive peace over the next few years.
