Lifesaving Medevac Legislation to be repealed
The National Council of Churches in Australia and the Australian Churches Refugee Taskforce released a combined Media Statement on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 following the Government's decision to repeal the Medevac Legislation.
"...the Government must immediately open a humane resettlement pathway for people detained on PNG and Nauru and guarantee that those seriously ill people will receive the appropriate health care."
