NCCA Ecumenical Funds

The NCCA administers three separate ecumenical funding programs. These will be open for applications in 2020, for projects requiring funding in the 2020-2021 financial year.

The Glenburnie Program - for ecumenical projects that enable work in justice, participation and sustainability

The Ronald Wilson Ecumenical Leadership Fund - to enlarge young leaders' ecumenical experience

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Development Fund - to assist First Nation peoples to develop their communities and their participation in wider Australia. 

 

The Glenburnie Program

This funding program takes its name from a property in Western Australia. Funding from this program is intended to “provide resources for the churches and the community on issues relating to a just, participatory and sustainable society." (JPSS)

Closing date for applications: 30 April 2020.

The Ronald Wilson Ecumenical Leadership Fund

The Ecumenical Leadership Fund assists young people eager to enlarge their ecumenical experience and leadership skills.  It helps those who have exhibited leadership potential to develop their gifts and focus their vision.

it is open to applicants under 35 years of age. Each application is reviewed on its own merit. There is no set closing date for applications to this fund.

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Development Fund

NCCA's member Churches’ support Australia's First Nation Peoples to develop their communities and encourage their participation in the wider Australian and international communities.

The Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Development Fund (ATSIDF), of the National Council of Churches in Australia, is a tax deductible fund set up to assist Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples by giving small, usually one-off grants for community development projects. The projects are funded through the NATSIEC annual Martung Upah Appeal.
