Safe Church Program

Training update

Three new safeguarding webinars available from the NCCA and Catholic Professional Standards (CPSL). We have worked collaboratively to design resources to help faith communities across Australia keep children safe and protected in faith organisations.

The webinars are available to anyone working in a faith-based context looking to strengthen their organisation's ability to protect children effectively in faith environments. Each webinar is a collaboration with experts in their respective fields, and offers informed and comprehensive training.

‘Grooming Awareness’ for churches was identified as a key area for learning and training. The webinar series is designed for varying levels of knowledge and leadership, so please have a look through the three webinars on offer to determine which are most suitable for your role and ministry.
