Cultivating Peace
DOV in Australia

KEY ISSUES

DOV in Australia is seeking to address the four major worldwide themes identified
by the World Council of Churches as the root causes of violence

- with a central underlying focus to each in Australia being a recognition of the violence
of the past and just Reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples

DOV in Australia's seven circles of peacemakingOur approach highlights
seven circles of violence and peace:

personal -family - local community -
religious/cultural - national -
international - ecological

Within these 7 circles or areas of
violence, we seek to share the love
of Christ and create ripples of peace
to bring healing and new life
