NATSIEC Statement:

A treaty deserves support. Despite what some politicians say, it remains a pressing concern for Indigenous peoples. Treaty encompasses issues of self-determination, rights, land, law and empowerment. Until Australia addresses the unfinished business of the first peoples’ place in this country, true reconciliation will not be achieved.
