At the NCCA
15 Years of the NCCA and the Commissioning of the 3rd General Secretary
Saturday, 30 May 2009 00:00
The Inaugural Service of the National Council of Churches in Australia took place at St Christopher's Cathedral, Canberra, on 3 July 1994.
At a service to be held on 24 June the National Council of Churches will celebrate 15 years of ecumenical service within Australia and overseas. This is a significant moment as we reflect on the Councils many great Christian achievements, contributions and experiences.
The Revd Tara Curlewis, a long standing member of the NCCA Executive, will be commissioned at the service as we welcome her into a new relationship with the Council.
