There are two levels of participation.
MEMBERS (Level 1)
Safe Church Training Agreement (SCTA) Members are Christian organisations who pay an annual membership fee and become SCTA Members. SCTA Members will benefit from the following services of the SCTA.
SCTA Membership fees will also enable the employment of the SCTA Unit. In this way, SCTA Members are collaborating in the facilitation of easily accessible and endorsed safe place training courses.
All SCTA holistic Safe Church workshops workshops will be presented by endorsed Training Partners of the SCTA.
NB: The membership fee does not include the cost of sending volunteers to workshops (ranging $10-$30 per person).
COST of membership payable yearly by 15th June.
Membership fees 2010
A 50 or less active sites $475 $500
B 50-100 $950 $1000
C 101- 150 $1425 $1500
D 151-200 $1900 $2000
E 201– 350 $2850 $3000
F 350+ $3800 $4000
G National (eg combined dioceses) by negotiation up to $10,000
* If the cost of membership would cause your organisation financial hardship, please contact the SCTA Unit.
** Ministry sites: counted as active sites where ministry is provided to children and vulnerable adults takes place. Also known as local congregation sites.
** Membership is payable on each financial year, existing members will receive 5% reduction in fees.
ENDORSED TRAINING PARTNERS (Level 2)
Endorsed Training Partners are SCTA Members who are willing to offer their training to the wider Christian community.
Those seeking to become Training Partners will submit their program to be reviewed against the national standards with a view to having it, and their workshop presenters, endorsed.
Note: Endorsed Training Partners will be able to recoup the cost of their membership fees by charging individuals for attendance at workshops.
