"The Youth Network is vital to the work of the NCCA. It builds links between youth agencies, and through projects and conferences promotes ecumenism amongst young people. It advocates the needs, interests and concerns of young people; links the youth of Australian churches with the World Council of Churches and the Christian Conference of Asia; encourages links between the churches and the wider community on youth issues; supports and develops programs on issues of concern to young people; produces and promotes resources for youth ministry and encourages participation of young people in ecumenical opportunities".

(Karen Lunney, Roman Catholic, Chair of the NCCA Youth Network)
