Become a Partner4Peace and make a difference in the world year round

 

Partners4Peace give each month to projects selected with the aim of building peace in the world. Partners4Peace receive:

  • Option to assign gifts to the area of greatest need
  • Peace Mail - monthly letters from partners - sent quarterly, if you wish to save mailing costs
  • Options to give by direct debit from credit card or bank account - saves processing costs - receive a free binder to hold your Peace Mail
  • Gifts by cheque or bank deposit, if you prefer
  • Personal summary of gifts at tax time - this too save costs - makes giving simpler for you
  • At least 80% of your gifts directly put to work in the projects
  • A part in building peace in the world

All gifts to Partners4Peace help our project partners’ work in making a positive difference

  • $500 provides one year of three years of carpentry training in a Gaza refugee camp
  • $267 pays for one village doctor to complete a skills upgrade course in China
  • $240 a year establishes a nutrition group in Mozambique, giving local families education, seeds and tools
  • $183 will provide a year’s food for a refugee from Burma in a Thailand border camp
  • $80 will provide a resettlement kit for returning refugee families in Sudan
  • $50 will train a traditional birth attendant in Bangladesh for a month
  • $35 brings safe, clean water and sanitation to an Ethiopian family
  • $17 facilitates an education program for a woman in a refugee camp in Lebanon
  • $12 clears land mines from 10 square metres in Cambodia

 

act for peace, through the Christmas Bowl, has been involved in humanitarian and development work since 1949.
