Christian World Service is committed to working towards justice and peace. Our Mandate states that "This work includes overseas relief and development, support and advocacy for uprooted people, support for the work of Australian Aboriginal and Islander people, education for justice, advocacy and human rights and concern for International Affairs". CWS adopts an advocacy role on international issues of justice, peace, development and human rights with a particular concern for the well-being and dignity of Indigenous Peoples, uprooted people, women and young people.
