New arrivals in Tha Song Yang District due to conflict in Karen state
People have fled to Thailand following several days of shelling and fighting between armed groups in Karen state, Burma. The first report came on the June 6 with some 1163 people crossing the border as a result of the fighting, and as of the date of this report, more than 4000 people have crossed the border.
